This poem is dedicated to all the women out in the world who suffers violence in their homes, get tortured, and are unable to defend themselves. It might not be the right time in their lives, but they must build the courage to stand up and support themselves. Remember that there is always a way out of the difficult situations in life, so don’t get sad and embrace yourself to prove your strength.

The scars on her body,
the red stamps on her face,
she sobs every night,
to the god for a little help,
who knows when she will be free,
from the tortures of her brutal man.

The blubbering in her eyes,
the chains in her hands,
she sobs every night,
to question her parents,
who knows how she lives,
from the day she got married.

The sadness in her heart,
the coldness in her mind,
the sobs every night,
to plan her escape,
from the prison…
