Escape the Mind Maze
A Poem on Overthinking You Can’t Miss.
My mind’s a labyrinth of thought,
A place where worries are often caught,
An endless maze of doubt and fear,
Where clarity is seldom near.
I dwell on every little thing,
Each detail and each fleeting fling,
My thought runs rampant, never cease,
A never-ending mental police.
I question every single move,
And every step I take to prove,
That what I’m doing is worthwhile,
That every effort is not futile.
But in this race to find success,
I’m left with a sense of distress,
For all my thoughts, they weigh me down,
And leave me feeling like I’ll drown.
So I must learn to quiet my mind,
And leave the overthinking behind,
To trust that I’ll make the right choice,
And to let go of that inner voice.
For life is short and time is brief,
And moments pass, so very fleet,
So let me live without the strain,
Of overthinking’s endless pain.
